Uderzające jest podobieństwo designu. Po prostu chłopaki pełną garścią czerpali z cudzych pomysłów, w tym przypadku firmy Foerster. Swoją drogą Foerster jako jeden z pierwszych zastosował technologie dwuczęstotliwościową. Sonda tego detektora jest wykonana na wielowarstwowe płytce drukowanej.

Urządzonko Minelaba pracuje w technologii podobnej do tej w wykrywaczach SD/GP. Na jakiej zasadzie działa Recon nie wiem, ale mogę się domyślać, że to PI.

Faktycznie Garrett mógłby coś nowego wypuścić, bo GTI trąci myszką. Mogliby go chociaż odchudzić, przeprojektować z nowodostęnymi podzespołami. No ale chyba teraz główne pieniądze zarabiają na security. No i na masówce serii ACE150/250 - ten ostatni model wybitnie im się udał.

A propo Garrett troszkę stanął z wykrywaczami dla
hobbystów, cały czas flagowym modelem jest GTI 2500.
