Przypadkiem natknąłem się w niedzielę na program w TV p.t. "Łowcy Skarbów" w National Geographic.

Takie typowo amerykańskie historyjki odgrywane przed kamerą.
Goście biegają z Garretami - chyba AT Gold i ProPointer, szukają złota w rzece itp.

Kilka śmiesznych błędów montażowych np.
- słuchawki podłączone do wykrywaczy, obaj kolesie mają słuchawki na uszach a kamera rejestruje wyraźny dźwięk z wykrywacza albo,
- wykrywacz daje niski dźwięk jak na żelazo a kolesie wyciągają ładną złotą monetkę,
- posesja przed domem a tam czysto jak na Saharze - zero sygnałów od śmieci (chyba że w USA takie maja czyste podwórka bez śmieci).

Dla rozrywki i dla zabicia nudy w przypadku braku innego zajęcia można obejrzeć.

Planning Plantagenet
Gordon and Gary are catapulted back to Medieval times to follow up on a hoard of 19 Plantagenet short cross pennies. The farmer who found the coins, Peter Brown, only has a low-level detector so needs the boys’ help to find anything he missed. Gary in particular is very excited about the dig, and is given the job of sourcing a special vehicle for the occasion… Something that Gordon may regret allowing!

Meanwhile Mike is dispatched to find out more about the Plantagenet kings, and the coinage itself. The short cross penny was a hugely important coin, unchanged and in circulation for 67 years. It was so integral to the British monetary system it brought about the standardisation of coinage. However, Mike is not a coin expert, whereas Gordon most definitely is. Mike certainly has his work cut out if he’s to impress the King of Coins himself.

With the search underway, it’s not the King of Coins but his detecting buddy, Gary, who emerges victorious but will that success involve adding to the original hoard, and ensuring their booty ends up in the museum joining the 19 short cross pennies already discovered?
