What is new on our site
September 2000
The site is being modified. Please be lenient.Last update 29. 06. 1999
Bad news. Most new material is in Polish. Good news. Within last year, some new sites that relates to technical aspects of metal detection were created. Check new site with links to them.
Many new links to manufacturers were added. Manufacturers that have no web sites have been removed from the list.
Tables with Charlie Conger's tests are added.
The list with Literature refferences was greatly expanded (I would like to thank Mike from France and Ivars from Germany for their help). Now it is in a form of a table. It is quite big so you may want to download it as a zip commpresed file. Please note that there are materials that we do not have. If you have them, or have others materials, we would gladly exchange some.
Thanks to Paulo from Portugal, the sample P.I. plan is now redrawn and complimented with PCB and some constructional details. The same material is now on the GeoTech.

Due to system crash, the list of registered people has gone astray. Please reregister. We do apologise for any inconveniences it may cause you.
Most of the new material is in Polish, but if you wish you could go here to see some pictures of search heads inside its housings.
The reference page has been significantly complemented. I would like to thank Paolo from Italy and Steve from Australia for their help. On the same page you can find some sample metal detectors plans.
Courtesy Mr Charles Conger an unbiased test raport was added. His report is the best I have ever seen. It has nothing to do with so-called field tests, which are biased and sponsored by metal detector manufacturers. The report deals with Garrett CXIII, Fisher CZ6 as well as White's XLT but its content would be also helpful for people who own other detectors or are planning to buy one.
