Problem polega jednak na tym, że nie zawsze pasują wtyczki.

Nawet sondy tego samego typu (np. GTA czy CX) miały różne wtyki na przestrzeni wielu lat produkcji.

Jeśli ktoś rozważa wymianę lub dokupienie sondy do Garretta j/w, to proszę zwrócić uwagę jakiego rodzaju ma złącze.

Poniżej zdjęcie które może być pomocne. Roboczo nazwijmy to wtyk typu C i wtyk typu X.

Na zdjęciu adapter połączony koszulką z wtyczką na sondzie "nowej", bo klient nie chciał ryzykować utraty gwarancji przy przelutowaniu wtyku, a chciał mieć to na stałe.

Z przedłużaczami do White'sa są następujące problemy:

Bardzo drogie są złącza (kilkanaście dolarów). Gniazda na kabel są praktycznie niedostępne (może jeden używany znajdę). Trzeba kombinować z gniazdem montowanym na panel.
